APPKG delegation visits vocational training center at Thotha Refugee Camp

Muzaffarabad(Daily P.Times): All-Party Parliamentary Kashmir Group (APPKG), in the UK Parliament, under the leadership of Honorable Chris Leslie, British Member of Parliament, on Wednesday paid visit to Vocational Training Center at Thotha Refugee Camp and observed the embroidery, Knitting and Kahadi work of the refugee women.
Commissioner Rehabilitation Ata Ullah Ata was also present on the occasion. Master Muhammad Yousaf from occupied Kashmir shared circumstances in which he had to migrate to Azad Kashmir leaving his half of the family members behind. Yousuf told that he was school teacher and was living his own life mean while Indian army made his life hell and he was compelled to leave his home. “Indian forces are badly engaged in violating the human rights in occupied Kashmir. They are using pellet guns and other weapons to kill Kashmiris. I am willing to go back to join my divided family but I fear that I would be arrested by the Indian forces upon my arrival in occupied Kashmir”, he said. Urging the visiting delegation to raise this humanitarian issue at international level he said that pressure should be mounted on Indian government to grant Kashmiris their birthright, right to self-determination accordance with United Nations resolutions.
The delegation assured the representatives of the camp that they will prepare a comprehensive report of their visit and will submit it to British Parliament so debate on Kashmir issue could be conducted.
