ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to visit Saudi Arabia in the next few days.
According to media reports, the prime minister will call on Saudi King, crown prince and other authorities during his visit. PM Khan will also perform Umrah during his visit.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has also confirmed that the prime minister will soon visit Saudi Arabia. The dates for the visit have however not been decided yet.
This will be Imran Khan’s first visit to any country after assuming the office of prime minister.
Following the general elections, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had telephoned Imran Khan and congratulated him on his party’s victory in the recent election.
During the telephonic conversation, the Saudi Crown Prince said as Pakistan had vast trade and economic opportunities, the Kingdom was keen to make investment in the country and strengthen the bilateral trade relations.
