NEW DELHI: The 70th death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was observed with solemnity at Pakistan High Commission, New Delhi, today.
The officers and staff of the High Commission offered Quran Khawani for Eesal-e-Sawab of the father of the nation.
Rich tributes were paid to the vision, farsightedness and unflinching resolve of the Quaid-e-Azam, which culminated in the successful struggle for freedom and creation of Pakistan as an independent and sovereign state.
High Commissioner Sohail Mahmood said the Quaid-e-Azam’s principles and vision served as the guiding lights for the grateful nation.
