Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan while denying recognition of the president ship of 4 martial-law era presidents remarked that technically Arif Alvi will be the 9th President of Pakistan as his Party doesn’t recognize the foursome owing to their “undemocratic” elevation to power.
“Basically Arif Alvi will be the 9th President of Pakistan not 13th, because the PPP doesn’t recognizes 4 Martial-law-era Presidents.”
Talking to Journalists on Tueday he said, the Presidential Elections of 2018 were held in a transparent manner as the President was elected democratically. The elections process was carried out in front of other political parties, he said.
Therefore, he declared Arif Alvi as the 9th President of Pakistan.
