Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) and District Administration have started a crackdown against tanker mafia in Islamabad.
Deputy Director Ramzan and Additional Station House Master (SHO) Police Station Secretariat, Sub Inspector, Zahir Ali were heading the operation team, during the operation two illegal bores in Malpur were pulled out, and also demolished a filling station.
According to sources, CDA and Islamabad Police were stopped by the owners for one hour, but during this no legal document presented, as owner said that they had taken a stay from the court, on which two illegal bores in Malpur were pulled out, and also demolished a filling station.
Worth mentioning here that criminal negligence of town administration has exacerbated water issue in Islamabad, tanker mafia is establishing footholds in federal capital in a bid to replace government as major water supplier.
