Karachi : Deputy Speaker National Assembly (NA) Qasim Khan Suri has said that his party wants fortification of state institutions besides restoration of system.
Talking to media men on Tuesday, Suri asserted that before discretionary fund were provided to elected representatives of people to establish their monarchy but now his partyís top priority is to make state institutions stronger.
Opposition should play a positive role in the NA as his party has its own priorities to run the government, he added. Opposition will not be allowed to be imposed.
Commenting on Prime Minister Imran Khanís nomination of Arif Alvi for presidential slot, Suri said Khan has chosen the best man for Presidential slot as Alvi is a senior party worker and lives like a common man.
Talking about missing persons, Deputy Speaker said that Imran Khan has his own stance on missing persons.
On the other hand, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chief Mustafa Kamal while addressing a press conference on Tuesday in Karachi said that Prime Minister Imran Khan should raise his voice for missing persons of Karachi.
Our reservations on census should be alleviated , Kamal demanded.
He said his party will contest by-polls in all constituencies including NA-243.
He claimed that PSP is stronger than before as party has just started now.
