Karachi: Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued the notice for August 30 to Faisal Vawda and others while dismissing the petition for stopping the result of NA-249.
The hearing of case against newly elected MNA Faisal Vawda from NA-249 held in SHC.
The petition was filed by Pakistan People Party’s (PPP) Qadir Khan.
The SHC Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar questioned petitioner that if he had resorted to Returning Officer (RO)?
On which petitioner said that RO rejected his request.
Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar remarked that mention is made of the properties located in all three countries in papers .
On which petitioner said, “65% of property is on loan but Vawda doesn’t have any foreign account and nothing is mentioned in the record about Faisal Vawda American Passport. It’s my request to court to stop the notification on result of NA-249 result.”
SHC issued the notice for August 30 to Faisal Vawda and others while ejecting the appeal.
