Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to review the plans of housing societies, to prevent allocated land for mosques, Schools, parking, green belts and public centers from being used against rules and regulations.
RDA has given the task to Assistant Director Metro Politian and Engineering Department to submit a report with Director General RDA in next two weeks.
According to media reports DG RDA has taken notice of complaints pertaining to the use of allocated areas against rules and regulations. He has also directed director Metro Politian and Engineering Department Jamshed Aftab to submit a complete report in next two weeks.
Assistant Director Atif Chaudhry, who has been given the task has visited seven housing societies and inspected their out plans. Minor differences were observed in the out plans of two housing societies which would be reported to DG RDA.
The final report in this regard will be submitted to RDA after august 20.
Based on the given report RDA will decide either to fine or cancel the Non Objection Certificate (NOC) of the housing societies found guilty of violation of rule and regulation.
