Islamabad: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has provided online facility to the aspiring students to get admission forms along with prospectus, making both available on their official website.
The students could download the form to get themselves enrolled in the ongoing admissions (Autumn 2018) that will continue till September 5, it was stated here on Friday.
This is a part of the initiatives taken recently be the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Siddiqui to strengthen the students’ support system.
Meanwhile, the University has set-up prospectus’ sale points at its main Campus, 44-Regional and Coordinating Offices across the country for facilitating the students to get themselves enrolled in the Autumn 2018 session.
The admissions for the enrolment began on Wednesday. Addresses and phone numbers of Regional Campuses and Coordinating offices of the University could be downloaded from the University’s website www.aiou.edu.pk . In addition, admissions’ details both in Urdu and English have also been placed at the said website.
These points have been setup on instructions of the Vice Chancellor to facilitate the aspiring applicants. He also advised all regional directors to set up ‘Facilitation Centers’ at their offices for the help and guidance of the students.
Admission forms along with the required fee could be submitted at the nation-wide branches of Habib Bank Ltd, First Women Bank, Bank Alfalah, Allied Bank and at the designated branches of National Bank of Pakistan and Muslim Commercial Bank.
Continuing admission forms have already been dispatched to the continuing students, however, if somehow any of student has not received the said admission form, he/she can download the same from the AIOU website www.aiou.edu.pk and submit in any designate bank branch with fee till due date to avoid late fee charges.
