Islamabad (Parliament Times) All three traders groups of G-9 Markaz announced to support to Choudhry Saeed Ahmad, a candidate of Allah o Akbar Tehreek (AAT), backed by Milli Muslim League (MML). Trader groups, Shaheen Taajir Ittehad Group, Taajir Dost Group and Trader Welfare Group, jointly supported the candidate.
A public meeting was held at G-9 Markaz. Trader community joined the meeting and assured Choudhry Saeed Ahmad of their support. Chairman Shaheen Trader Union Group Rana Ayaaz Ahmad, President Choudhry Sajid Iqbal, General Secretary Choudhry Ijaz Ahmad, Senior Vice President Muhammad Ashraf Janjua, Chairman Taajir Dost Group Raj Muhammad Abbasi, President Raja Javed Iqbal, General Secretary Oun Khan Jalil, Senior Vice Chairman Raja Muhammad Asif, Chairman Trader Welfare Group Mian Muhammad Shabbir, President Rohail Anwar Butt, General Secretary Nawaz Raza Khan Marwat, Senior Vice president Raja Zulifqar, local social personalities Muhammad Mansha Virk, Rana Muhammad Saeed, Muhammad Zareen Khan and others along with their groups announced to support Choudhry Saeed.
Addressing the meeting, Choudhry Saeed thanked the traders for their support. He said, “It is our greater success. We assure that we would meet your expectations.”
He vowed to resolve all the issues of business community on a priority basis. He said, “He himself is a businessman, and therefore, is well aware of the problems of the business community. The role and character of our party is known to everyone. Our workers, with limited resources, offered their services in natural disasters.”
He announced to establish rescue centres at each sector of the city. Clean water will be provided at public places. We would continue our relief projects.
