Lahore: The President of PML (N) Shahbaz Sharif has said that their party held peaceful reception rally at Lahore in which even not a single flowerpot was broken but the government registered the case against senior leadership under anti terrorism act.
He was speaking at a press conference here on Saturday. He strongly condemned the suicide attacks on politicians by saying that India is involved in these sabotage activities
He said that three times Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Mariyam Nawaz came back from London and he was taken to Adiyala jail, now it is heard that trial against them would be held in jail, which is as par with the putting the justice into doldrums as the trials of terrorists are conducted in jails. When in 1999, so called hijacking case was made, even then the open trial was carried out.
“One day we will bring those elements to justice who are behind the violence on PML (N)’s peaceful workers. I fulfilled my promise by holding a peaceful rally. The entire Lahore was on the roads of the city on Friday and everyone wanted to go to airport to welcome their favorite leader. But our leaders and workers coming from other cities were prevented. They were baton charged and even police used teargas shells at different places”, the Chief of PML (N) added.
He expressed regrets that the media did blackout of the reception rally which was gathered to welcome their leader Nawaz Sharif .Whereas on the other hand, media gave full coverage to those who had caused great loss to the national economy in August 2014. He said that the opponents of PML (N) are abusing and using filthy language openly and media is showing all this around the clock.
The former Chief Minister said that not anything was proved against Nawaz Sharif .NAB even confessed that no proofs were provided to them against him.
Shahbaz Sharif threatened the election commission that PML (N) would not accept election results in case of rigging during the polls. The caretaker government and Election Commission should take action on the unjust attitude with the PML (N).
“We would utilize all the sources to defend our leader and his daughter and knock the doors of justice again and again. The constitution allows us to fight for our rights. We will wear black bands on our arms as a peaceful protest during our rallies and public meeting.
