Islamabad: (PR) A signing Ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding was held at PARC HQs, Islamabad between Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), Islamabad and Govt. Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur for mutual scientific and technical cooperation to advance the state of science and technology within the country and strengthen the scientific infrastructure which will bring benefits to both sides. Vice Chancellor, Govt. Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur along-with Prof. Dr. Faiz ul Hassan Naseem, Director (ORIC) of the University visited PARC HQs on 10th July, 2018 for the purpose.
As per terms & conditions of the Memorandum, PARC and Govt. Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur undertake to pursue a program of scientific, technical and academic collaboration for the exchange of ideas, skills and techniques on problems of national interest as agreed from time to time.
PARC and Govt. Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur will Exchange and training of faculty students, supervision, technical personnel and material for research and academic development. Both parties will also Exchange of students for their research and internship, credit transfer and joint supervision of MS and PhD students. PARC and Bahawalpur Women University will hold joint conferences, seminars, symposia, and workshops at National and international level.
Prof. Dr. Talat Afza,Vice Chancellor, Govt. Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur appreciated PARC efforts in agriculture sector and also thanked Dr. Yusuf Zafar, T.I, Chairman PARC who has kindly consented to get an MoU signed between Govt. Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur and Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC). Dr. Yusuf Zafar, T.I, Chairman, PARC also lauded the efforts of the University in Academic Sector.
