Fawad questions NAB’s ‘reluctance’ to take action against Iftikhar Chaudhry

Jhelum: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday questioned the “reluctance” of National Accountability Bureau for not taking action against former Chief Justice Pakistan, Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in Eden Housing Scam.
“Billions of Rupees of investors have been stuck up in Eden Housing Society Scam, but the NAB is reluctant to take action” he said.
Talking to reporters about Avenfield references against Sharifs, he said it wasn’t possible to adjourn the announcement of verdict on the wish of a rich and powerful man. The announcement of verdict must not be adjourned.
The impression of separate rules for rich and poor must come to end.
“It cannot happen so that the courts should keep on waiting for Nawaz Sharif’s return” he added. The whole nation is praying for the health of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, he said.
