Islamabad: Musharraf had no mandate or authority to award 145 acres of land to the Gun and Country Club without the Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) approval.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, on Tuesday criticized former president Pervez Musharraf for illegally awarding land to a club in Islamabad.
During a hearing, the chief justice said that the former president should return to the country and answer for his wrongdoings.
The chief justice ordered the illegal structure to be demolished and the land to be handed over to the Polyclinic hospital.
The chief justice also sought a report regarding the matter from CDA and the Gun n Country Club within four days.
