Islamabad: Chairperson Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan has challenged the decision of returning officer for rejecting his nomination papers from NA-53 Islamabad and filed appeal in appellate tribunal against the decision of returning officer.
Imran took the stance in the appeal on Wednesday that returning officer has rejected the nomination papers against law and appellate tribunal should nullify this decision.
It has been further said in the appeal that the decision regarding the nomination papers of Imran Khan from Islamabad NA 53 runs contrary constitution.
It is to be mentioned that returning officer had rejected the nomination papers of Imran Khan from NA 53 Islamabad on Tuesday.
