New provinces should be made with national consensus: PM

SHUJABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that new provinces should be formed with national consensus.
“New provinces should be made with consensus. Those chanting slogans of South Punjab were sitting on the right and left of Pervez Musharaf. Development in Pakistan has to come through political system”, he said this while inaugurating Motorway M-5 Shujabad section here Saturday.
This section will connect Sukkar with Shuja Abad, Jalal Pur, Rahim Yar Khan, Ghotki and Pannu Aqil.
PM said that not any one including Pervez Musharaf did any thing for the uplift of this area. Pervez Musharaf started 4 to 5 projects but not a single one was completed.
He held that Asif Ali Zardari neither started any project nor was any project completed during his tenure.
He remarked “ PML-N is the only party which started projects and completed them. The situation has far improved than 2013. Government has ended loadshedding by adding 10400 megawatt electricity in the system during its five years tenure.
He pointed out that Lawar Tunnel project was started in 1973 and Nawaz Sharif government accomplished it.
He observed people have to decide in July to whom they have to elect in the general polls. On one side there is politics of abusing and allegations and on the other hand there is PML-N government whose politics is politics of decency, service and development. However it is upto the people to decide, he added.
