Rawlakot: (Parliament Times) Chairman PDA Sardar Farhad Khan has said that government will leave no stone unturned to make Rawlakot a model city by providing the provision of all the basic amenities to citizens.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday Khan said that Pearl development authority had evolved a comprehensive plan regarding the beatification of Rawlakot. “Tourists will come to visit the city, we are bound to provide better facilities to them”, he said adding that efforts were under way to make the traffic system in the city better. The Chairman PDA said that Pearl development authority was playing important role in this regard. He said that footpaths and service roads will be set free from encroachments whereas a number of mega projects worth billions of rupees were being initiated in the area that included the sewerage system, construction of flyovers and restoration of water supply in the city and its surrounding areas. Khan said that the incumbent government had initiated a number of development projects in Rawalkot saying that it was his duty to get these projects accomplished in time. He said that three more public parks will be constructed in the city whereas swimming pool, table tennis facilities would be available to visitors in the children park.
