ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has rejected chairman NAB explanation and decided to consider legal option against him saying NAB has become a dishonest, partial and biased institution and its face will be exposed to the entire nation and the world.
PML-N Central Executive Committee met under Nawaz Sharif Friday. Meeting was attended by Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, chief minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, speaker National Assembly Sarardar Ayaz Sadiq, Raja Zafar ul Haq and other members of executive committee.
Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was not invited.
During the meeting the allegation of money laundering leveled by Chairman NAB against Mian Nawaz Sharif was strongly condemned. Decision was taken to consider legal option against Chairman NAB.
Nawaz Sharif said political victimization in the name of accountability is not acceptable. Because NAB has now become a dishonest and biased institution. The explanation given by chairman NAB is not acceptable.
He held time has now come that that NAB real face should be exposed to the whole nation and the world. If chairman NAB does not apologize then PML-N would consider to resort to legal option at every cost.
The decisions about parliamentary board, election cell and manifesto committee were also taken in the meeting. Cell will monitor the matters related to awarding of tickets. A manifesto committee has also been constituted which will keep eye on all matters.
