Peshawar: Five persons of a family from Hangu have been killed and 2 injured in a gas cylinder explosion at 5th storey of Afandi hotel in Bilal Town Peshawar.
The dead include Kamran, his spouse, mother and two children. The injured two children were nephew of Kamran who have been shifted to hospital.
According to CCPO Peshawar the affected family was in Peshawar for medical treatment.
Following the explosion and fire the wreckage fell from the 5th storey also damaged the vehicles parked there and window panes. The travelers who were staying in the hotel have been evacuated safely by rescue 1122, whereas police, fire brigade, rescue and bomb disposal squad are still at the site.
