    Saddia Mazhar;

    Islamabad: National data base and registration authority (NADRA) center in blue area is the best developed center providing facilities to common man regarding their id cards and other related certificate s. This center was inaugurated in 2016 by the interior minister of that time Mr. Nisar Ali Khan.

    This center has the capacity to process 2,000 applications for the computerized national identity card (CNICs). Executive center in blue area is the largest in country and citizens are able to get CNICs, family registration certificates and children registration certificate (CRC) also known as B. Form. In old centers in fact the other centers, the applicants have to go to different counters to get token and wait for their pictures, finger prints, data entry and other processes. But in executive center all the process complete at one counter.

    There are 34 counters, so 34 applicants can apply for their cards simultaneously and on average just eight to ten minutes are required for processing each application. This center remain open on 24/7.

    Mr. Arshad, visited NADRA executive center for his Identity card said, “Start from the main entrance, I was surprised because I was welcomed by a security guard who guided me on the entrance on my request. As it was hot day proper sitting and cooling system was there. Besides the rush, every customer was relaxed and waiting for their turn. He further added that for the comfort of the people the facilities of cold water and neat and clean separate rest rooms for gents and ladies were also there. I must say that NADRA executive is an example for other public government organizations where people have to face too many hardships while their visit.
