Islamabad:(Parliament Times) Amidst hundreds of mourners Sardar Muhammad Siddique Khan, the father of Chief Editor Daily Country News Sardar Abdul Hameed, was laid to eternal rest at a graveyard in his ancestral village Tayien here on Tuesday.
Khan’s funeral prayers were attended by a large number of local people including veteran social, political and religious personalities of the area whereas members of journalist fraternity from twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad including Chief Editor Daily Parliament Times Javed Iqbal Chudhary, senior journalists Sardar Zahid Tabassum, Ejaz Abbasi, Raja Kafeel, Bashir Usmani, Abdul Raziq Bhati and others were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, expressing their deep sense of shock over the sad demise of Sardar Muhammad Siddique Khan the AKNS president and Chief Editor Daily Jammu Kashmir Amir Mehboob, Chief Editor Daily Parliament Times Javed Chudhary, Editor Parliament Times Nisar Ahmed Thakur and other staff members have extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
