Islamabad : National Accountability Bureau(NAB) Rawalpindi has arrested Dawood Khalid partners of Suzuki Chaudary Motors Rawalpindi Islamabad. The persons have allegedly embezzled an amount of Rs 86.694 millions.
The accused persons are allegedly involved in cheating public at large by receiving a huge amount of money from the general public in the name of showroom pool investment for profit on a monthly basis to investors.
NAB Sub Office Gilgit has also filed two different references in Accountability Court Gilgit against the officers and officials of Forest Department Gilgit Baltistan.
In these cases accused Muhammad Ismail Zafar Ex-Conservator Gilgit, Saleem Ullah Khan Divisional Forest Officer, Qadar Dan Ex-Range Forest Officer Forest Department, Fareed Ullah Khan, Superintendent, Forest Department, Forest Lessees Maskeen Faqeer, Riaz Hakeem, and Abdul Wakeel, on the allegation of transportation of illegal cut timber from Minar ,Makhley and Chilas Forests in violation of Timber Disposal Policy2013 that resulted in a loss of more than Rs. 156Million to the National Exchequer.
