SRINAGAR: In Occupied Kashmir, the puppet authorities have imposed strict restrictions in most parts of Srinagar and curfew in Kangan area of Ganderbal to prevent people from staging demonstrations against the recent killings by the Indian troops.

The Joint Resistance Leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has called for the demonstrations after Juma prayers, today, to condemn the killings and express solidarity with the families of the martyred youth.

Due to the widespread protests by students, yesterday, the occupation authorities ordered the closure of all schools, colleges, and universities in the Valley while all the exams scheduled for today have also been canceled.

On the other hand, the puppet administration continues to put Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Muhammad Yasin Malik and other Hurriyet leaders under house arrest or in custody to prevent them from leading the protests.
