5 die, fire erupts in a bakery
Lahore: As many as five persons were killed following eruption of fire in a bakery at Barkat market Garden town Lahore on Tuesday.
Fire Brigade staff rushed to the scene and started to extinguish fire. Staff entered the bakery while breaking wall and doors.
Rescue sources have said that the doors of the bakery were closed. The bakery was filled with smoke due to which 5 persons choked to death.
The fire incident is likely to have taken place due to short circuiting in bakery ; however police have not confirmed it yet.
