Islamabad : As many as six-thousand patients affected by pollen allergy visited Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Polley Clinic.
According to details, Pollen in air has been increased due to clear weather in capital; As PIMS received 4000 patients while 2000 visited Polley Clinic.
Spokesman of PIMS Dr.Waseem Khawaja told media that The PIMS emergency has received and treated a large number of patients. The patients are being provided free of cost treatment including medicines
Dr.Waseem said that Pollen increase fast in spring season due to clear weather in morning and evening times and due to this reason allergy patients have been increased.
He added that along with healthcare, patients are being advised to carry a mask, hat and glasses while walking outside during the spring season.
