ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Friday continued to criticize new Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, saying only a group of six people nominated him, and he became the Senate chairman.
In an informal talk with media persons in the courtroom where he was attending hearing of corruption references against him, the ousted prime minister said everybody knew who is behind the Chairman Senate.
He said judicial reforms would be part of his party’s manifesto for the next general election and reforms were need of the hour and door to reforms should always remain open.
Responding to a question, he said services of an international firm were not being sought for his movement for justice. “We have adequate material of our own, we are no NAB who will hire a foreign firm,” the Supreme leader of the PMLN said.
He said most of the things that are not visible in normal circumstances become clear in the testing times. Sharif also asked journalist what possible motive could be behind his removal as president of PMLN.
Taking aim at the Pakistan People’s party and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, he said aim of both the parties was to deceive the people. “They always look towards Umpire’s finger, and want to come to power through back door”.
