Lahore : The training camps of Sports Board Punjab’s contingent are going to begin after trials on March 9 at various venues in the province.
These training camps are being held on the directions of Secretary Sports Punjab for the preparation of upcoming 4th Inter-Provincial Games scheduled to be held at Peshawar from 18th to 20th March.
A 325-member contingent will represent Punjab in 28 male and female disciplines of the games. The 7-day training camp will remain continue till 15th of this month.
Sports Board Punjab has arranged expert coaches for the training of Punjab players so that they can retain their title comfortably in Peshawar.
Punjab athletes will feature in the following 28 sports disciplines during the mega event of 4th Inter-Provincial Games:
Archery, athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, bodybuilding, boxing, karate, rowing, rugby, shooting, softball, squash, golf, gymnastics, handball, hockey, ju-jitsu, kabaddi, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, tug-of-war, volleyball, weightlifting, wrestling, wushu.
