ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices to federation and ministry of religious affairs in Hajj quota case.
The case came up for hearing before a single bench of IHC presided over by Justice Amir Farooq Tuesday.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Raja Khalid appeared in the court.
Justice Amir Farooq inquired from DAG has Hajj policy -2018 been given final shape.
DAG replied “I can tell after asking about it.
Muhammad Akram Gondal counsel for the petitioner took the plea “ our travel company is enrolled since 2012. Quota is given to favorite persons. The companies which are not provided quota are not informed about objections and reasons.
The court issued notice to federation and the ministry of religious affairs and ordered that the matter be clubbed with other petitions.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till February 26.
