ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has remarked if Raja Zafar ul Haq report is not filed till February 20 then contempt of court notice will be issued to Prime Minister (PM) and other ministers.
A single bench of IHC presided over by Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui took up for hearing Faizabad dharna case on Monday.
Raja Zafar ul Haq report could not be presented in IHC Monday during the course of hearing of Faizabad Dharna case.
At the inception of hearing of the case Secretary Defence and Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Raja Arshid Kayani appeared in the court.
The court asked for filing Raja Zafar ul Haq report.
DAG said report was not final.
The court inquired when the report would be finalized.
The court further remarked as to why contempt of court notice be not issued today. The report can be filed without the signature of interior minister. Don’t play hide and seek game with the court. You want record is summoned directly from chairman Senate and speaker National Assembly. If report is not filed till February 20 then contempt of court notices will be issued to PM and other ministers.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till February 20.
