“Says expenses on the arrangements for public gathering will be met through party funds”
Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that the people of the liberated territory would accord hero’s welcome to their leader Mian Nawaz Sharif on his forthcoming visit to Muzaffarabad.
AJK PM made these remarks while addressing a meeting of PML-N (AJK) Mirpur Division chapter held at Kashmir House Islamabad here on Sunday. The extra-ordinary session was attended by Minister for Law Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan, Minister for Revenue Farooq Sikander, Minister for Sports, Youth and Culture Ch. Muhammad Saeed, Chairman Inspection Commission Col (R) Waqar Noor, Member Legislative Assembly Ch. Rukhsar, Ex MLA Raja Muhammad Iqbal, President PML-N Mirpur Division Lala Abdul Malik, President PML-N Kotli Raja Ayub, Administrator District Council Raja Ghulam Rabbani whereas other senior leaders of PMLN were present in the meeting. Senior Minister Ch. Tariq Farooq was unable to attend the meeting due to sickness.
Speaking on the occasion Khan said that the PML-N president would be given a historic welcome on his arrival to capital city on 5th of February. “By according a rousing welcome to our beloved leader we will prove it that being a great leader Sharif is equally respected and revered by the people of Kashmir as he is cherished by the people of Pakistan”, he said adding that Nawaz’s indomitable role and peerless contribution for the country’s development, progress and prosperity is remarkable. Owing to his services for the Kashmir cause the AJK PM said that Kashmiris hold him (Nawaz) in high esteem. PML-N chief he said is great leader and indeed a great benefactor of Kashmiris. He said that Kashmiris have always supported PML-N chief. Prime Minister Raja Mohammad Farooq Haider Khan said, “5th February is important for us, on this day, Pakistani nation expresses solidarity with Kashmir and our leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif will be visiting Muzaffarabad in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day”.
The Prime minister directed the office bearers to ensure maximum participation of workers in the historic Kashmir solidarity rally. He also issued the directives to relevant authorities for finalizing the necessary arrangements to make the event successful.
Prime Minister on the occasion reviewed the program scheduled by party workers and leaders for 5th February. It was decided in the meeting to gather maximum audience from all districts of Azad Kashmir in Muzaffarabad to welcome their beloved leader Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Prime Minister made it clear that the expenses on the arrangements of this public gathering will be met through party funds.
Voicing serious concerns over the deteriorating HR situation in IHK the Prime Minister lamented that the situation in the IoK was upsetting. “The black laws prevalent in the restive region has made situation from bad to worse as Valley has become a virtual jail for its inhabitants”, he said adding that despite of all these brutalities by Indian armed forces, youth of Kashmir were determined.
