AC gives last chance to file reply in respect of Ishaq Dar objections in assets reference

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) has given last opportunity to NAB to submit reply to the objections filed by former finance minister Ishaq Dar.

Judge Muhammad Bashir of AC Islamabad took up for hearing assets reference against the former finance minister Ishaq Dar Thursday.

NAB Prosecutor Imran Shafiq said during the hearing of the case that high court has dismissed Ishaq Dar petition.

Judge Muhammad Bashir inquired there was stay order on court’s proceedings. What has happened with it .

NAB Prosecutor said Ishaq Dar main petition has been rejected. The statements of 10 out of 28 witnesses have been recorded.

The court while giving last chance to NAB for filing reply on Ishaq Dar objections ordered for summoning witnesses in maximum number on next hearing.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till January 22.

The statements of witnesses will be recorded on January 22 in assets reference.

The petition pertaining to unfreezing Hajveri trust bank accounts will be heard on January 24.
