ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has expressed resentment with Sindh police for its poor investigation and spoiling social worker Perveen Rehman murder case
The court has issued notice to Attorney General (AG) for formation of judicial commission in Perveen Rehman murder case.
A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Justice Gulzar Ahmad took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
During the course of hearing lawyer Raheel Kamran said the police officers who conducted investigations have spoiled the case.
Justice Gulzar Ahmad remarked “ it seems as if Police are trying to cover up its failure.

Police told the court a departmental proceeding is underway against the police officers who have spoiled the case.

The court directed Advocate General (AG) Sindh to appear in person before it to inform about the matter and adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
