PM advisor to inaugurate “Ibn-Khaldun corner” at NBF

Islamabad : Irfan Siddiqui, Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage will inaugurate the “Ibn-Khaldun Corner” at National Book Foundation (NBF) head office today (on 18th January, Thursday).
The Ibn-Khaldun Corner has been established in the name of great Historian, Philosopher and founder of Sociology of Tunisia, Ibn-Khaldun with the combine efforts of NBF and Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies in coloration with Embassy of Republic of Tunisia in Pakistan.
Ambassador of Republic of Tunisia to Pakistan Adil Al-Arabi will attend the ceremony as a Guest of Honour and Dr. Sajid Ahmad Awan, Senior Research Fellow as key speaker of National Institute of Historical and Cultural Research of Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad will throw light on the literary work of IbnKhaldun in this event.
Managing Director, NBF Dr. Inam-Ul-Haq Javed will deliver his speech as a host of this literary activity.
Before this, NBF has set-up, “NizamiGangavi Corner”; “Gosha Hafiz Shirazi” and“ Camoos Corner” by Azerbaijan, Iran and Portugal respectively.
The certificates, shields and gifts distribution ceremony will also be held there at the end at this auspicious occasion. Irfan Siddiqui, Advisor to Prime Minister on National History & Literary Heritage would be the chief guest on this occasion.
