Islamabad:A female accused involved in the dacoity incident in posh sector F-6/4 of the federal capital was released by the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) officer overnight.
Reliable sources told that girl picked from a doctor of polyclinic house on Friday was nominated accused in case number 400 registered in Police Station Kohisar while police officers also confirmed about the girl’s involvement in several incidents of dacoity.It was further revealed that the girl was also involved in number of incidents of dacoity while the police with the connivance of the accused, released her illegally. When “Online” raised the issue about arresting the girl illegally, the heirs of the girls were harassed by the police.
Local police forced the family members of the girls to keep mum while a top police official said that police should had accompanying a lady constable while making arrest of the girl. The nominated accused was released under what law despite reconciliation with the petitioner. Why the need was not felt to appear the accused before the magistrate and seeking the judicial remand?.SP CIA Zeeshan Haider talking to “Online” said that police took the girl into custody for investigation but her innocence was proved in the investigation. He said police have cast doubts on the character of doctor’s son while top police officials have been informed in this regard. He said all parties have been summoned and further investigation is also underway. It would be premature to say something while police were searching the accused involved in the dacoity.
