Lahore: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved four development schemes of Local Government & Road Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 6463.091 million.
These schemes were approved in the 35th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) of current fiscal year 2017-18 presided over the Chairman P&D Muhammad Jahanzeb Khan.
All Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned, Assistant Chief P&D Coordination-II Hafiz Muhammad Iqbal and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
The approved development schemes included: Khadem-e-Punjab Saaf Dehaat Programme at the cost of Rs. 4705.000 million, Rehabilitation of Nankana-Mangtanwala Road length 17.00 km, Nankana Sahib (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 496.563, Dualization of road from Motorway Interchange Jang Bahtar to Wah, length 3.00 km, Taxila, Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 482.817 million and Construction of Overhead Bridge at Depalpur Chowk, Okara (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 778.711 million.
