ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has said, “India stood isolated on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir”.
In a statement, Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Muhammad Faisal said the unanimous passing of a Pakistan-sponsored resolution by the committee of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) recently over the right to self-determination is a testimony to this fact.
The Spokesperson said the only way for India to end its international isolation on the Jammu and Kashmir issue is to implement the UN Security Council resolutions that call for a free and fair election under the auspices of the United Nations.
