MIRPUR (AJK): President AJK Central Traders Organization – Markazi Anjuman e Tajraan’ Mirpur (Ittehad Group) Chaudhry Mahmood here Tuesday paid rich tributes to Pakistan Army for its due guidance and assistance to the civil administration for getting the 22-day long protest sit-in ended peacefully at Faizabad.
Talking to newsmen here on Tuesday, Mehmood said “In response to the request by the civil authorities to Army for their due assistance to overcome the fast deteriorated situation following spreading of the series of protest sit-ins in various parts of the country the Pak Army played crucial role to get the episode ended peacefully”.
Ch. Mahmood continued that with the timely assistance of the army to help resolve the issue through peaceful dispersal of the furious participants of the Faizabad sit-in, staged by certain religious organizations against the controversial amendment in the constitutional document of oath for the parliament members, the image of the country and the nation was saved from further shattering in the external world”, he observed.
Mahmood said that our valiant armed forces of Pakistan are the custodian of the ideological and geographical frontiers of the country. “This reality was always proved through the best of the professional abilities skills of Pak Army in war and peace times besides in any emergent situation in the country and most particularly in the recent times while combating against terrorism in the country”, he added.
“The supreme sacrifices of lives given by the valiant sons of the soil – the martyrs of Pak army in defense of the ideological and geographical frontiers of the country during ‘Zerb e-Azb’ and ‘Operation Rad-ul-Fasaad’ to eliminate the terrorism from its roots are crystal clear of this fact, which would always be remembered – who (martyrs) saved the tomorrow of the nation by laying down the supreme sacrifices of their precious lives in the war against terrorism, he underlined. President Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajran (Ittehad Group) also highly applauded Pakistan Army’s achievements in the war against terrorism and continued efforts for peace and stability in the region since past many years.
The Kashmiri traders leader felicitated the government – besides the Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa including the para-military and civil law enforcement agencies for the successful end of the ‘Dharna’ episode that had crippled the daily life in various parts of the country especially the capital city of Islamabad and Rawalpindi and the adjoining parts of the federal metropolis besides various other provincial metropolitan cities of Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, and various AJK cities.
