Ali Raza Syed calls on AJK PM, discusses issues of mutual interest

Islamabad: Terming projection of Kashmir issue at international level as one of the top priorities of the incumbent government of Azad Kashmir the Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that Kashmiri expatriate community settled in European Countries made a significant contribution by presenting Kashmir case effectively at global level.
The AJK premier made these assertions while talking to the chairman of Kashmir EU council Ali Raza Syed who called on him here on Tuesday. The duo discussed in detail prevailing political and human rights situation in Indian Held Kashmir and other issues of mutual interest. Speaking on the occasion the PM appreciated Syed’s good work and his valuable contribution vis-à-vis highlighting Kashmir cause in Europe saying that Kashmiri expats are the ambassadors of Kashmiris. Khan said that the PML-N government was planning to evolve a comprehensive policy on Kashmir thereby taking all political parties of the region on board. “So far as promoting Kashmir cause is concerned we want the government of the base-camp should be given an effective role in this regard”, the PM said adding that when Kashmiris by themselves will raise their issue before the international community, the world community will certainly listen to them and give importance to their voice.
Describing implementation of UN resolutions as the most viable solution of Kashmir problem PM Khan said that all that Kashmiris want is the peaceful solution of the lingering dispute in line with the UN resolutions. Referring to the worsening situation in IHK he said, “India is committing war crimes in occupied Kashmir by targeting innocent civilians including children and women”.
While expressing his severe concerns on Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir in addition to Line of Control, Prime Minister observed that we need strong diplomatic campaign to expose massacre of Kashmiri.
“World community and international organizations will take notice of the deteriorating situation in Kashmir provided Kashmiris by themselves raise their voice on international level”, Prime Minister maintained.
