    New water meter will be installed in Islamabad

    Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Metro Politian Corporation (MCI) administration has decided to install water meters in rural and urban areas of Islamabad for the supply of water.
    According to media reports, charges against installation of meters ranging between Rs 3500 to Rs 4000 per meter will be recovered from consumers. . Before the installation of meters all old dilapidated water pipes lines will be changed.
    For reviewing expenses to be incurred on meters installation, increases in bills and other issues corporation has constituted 5 members committee.
    Director water supply Jamil Butt while making confirmation of the reports of installation of water meters said that this system will not only help control the wastage of water but will also enable them to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply of water to the citizens.
