Lahore: Tehreek Hurmat e Rasool (SAW) staged a demonstration against the changes made in the Khatam-e-Nabuwwat declaration of the constitution. Demonstration was organized at Choburji Chowk where hundreds of people from all walks of life gathered to express their love and devotion for Khatam-e-Nabuwwat. The participants of the rally carried placards and banners containing text honoring Holy Prophet (SAW). They chanted slogans in favour of Holy Prophet (SAW) and cursing the ones hatching conspiracies Khatam-e-Nabuwwat declaration.
Addressing to participant, Chairman Nazria Pakistan Rabita Council Muhammad Yaqoub Sheikh urged PM Abbasi to be more proactive for protection of the honour of Holy Prophet (SAW). He demanded the report of the committee led by Raja Zafar ul Haq be made public. He said, “Whoever has tried meddling with the honour, dignity and sanctity of Holy Prophet (SAW), Allah has humiliated him in the world.”
He said that the esteem and sacredness of the prophets are among basic beliefs of every Muslim.
He termed Qadianis the biggest enemy of Islam and Pakistan. He said, “Attackers on the honours of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) would be disgraced in the world and hereafter.”
Coordinator Difa e Pakistan Council (DPC) Hafiz Khalid Walid said that Pakistani nation is ready to die for protection of honour of Holy Prophet (SAW) and the tenets of Khatm e Nabuwwat.
Head Jamaat ud Dawa (JuD) Lahore Abul Hashim Rabbani said that plots against belief of Khatm e Nabuwwat would not be succeeded.
Chairman Wapda Paigham Union Siraj ud Din urged to launch again countrywide movement regarding Khatm e Nabuwwat.
Muhammad Aqeel Advocate, Moulana Idrees Farouqi, Hafiz Usman Shafique and others also addressed the gathering.
