Karachi/Quetta: A 5-day Polio campaign in 21 districts of Sindh including Karachi and 19 districts of Balochistan has been started.
According to Emergency Operation Cell (EOC), 5 day anti-polio campaign in 21 districts of Sindh including Karachi has been launched under which more than 71,00,000 children will be administered polio drops.
According to spokesperson EOC, first case of polio was reported in Gulshan Iqbal, Karachi this year and more than 17, 00,000 children would be administered polio drops in 162 union councils.
In Balochistan, more than 18, 00,000 children will be administered drops during anti-polio campaign.
Overall 6,761 teams have been constituted to run this campaign in the areas of Pushin, Qilla Abdullah, Chagi, Khuzdar, Lasbela, Nushki, Mustung, Bat Khan, Jaffar Abad, Qilla Saifullah, Loralai, Naseer Abad, Roob, Jhal Magsi, Dera Bhugti, Musa Khail, Kohlu, and shirani.
