ISLAMABAD: Four motorway projects of six hundred and seventy kilometers length have been completed across the country while work is underway on nine other projects.
According to official sources, the completed projects include Faisalabad- Gojra and Khanewal-Multan sections of M-4, Gawadar-Hoshab section of M-8 and Modernization of M-2.
Two new projects Hasanabdal-Havelian and Karachi-Hyderabad projects will be completed by the end of this year.
Seven new projects including Thakot-Havelian, D.I.Khan-Hakla, Lahore-Sialkot, Lahore-Abdul Hakim, Gojra-Shorkot, Shorkot-Khanewal and Sukkur-Multan will be completed during the next year.
The total length of the new nine projects will be 1438 kilometers.
Completion of these projects will link all the major cities and the adjoining remote areas that will help boost development activities across the country.
