Time not far when LoC will crumble like Berlin Wall says PTI president

Islamabad: The former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and the president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Kashmir Chapter) Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chudhary has said that the time is not far when people of Kashmir from across the divide will demolish the line of control the way Berlin wall was dismantled by the people of Germany.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday the PTI president said that fourth rehearsal regarding the demolishing of bloody ceasefire line (LoC) would be held by staging a million-march in the city of Berlin on 27 October 2017. Earlier he said a million march was held on 27 October 2014 at Trafalgar square in London, whereas similar kind of mass gatherings were organized in Brussels and New York city in front of the UN headquarters to seek world attention towards the unresolved issue of Kashmir that has been a major cause of tension in the region. Drawing parallels between LoC and Berlin Wall Barrister Chudhary said that the basic purpose of holding million-march in the capital city of Germany (Berlin) was to highlight the plight and miseries of hundreds and thousands of Kashmiri families who were left divided by the ceasefire line like infamous Berlin Wall divided the people of the city.
Referring to the changes sweeping across the globe he said time has come when people of Kashmir would demolish this dividing line the way people of West and East Berlin did as the Cold War began to thaw across Eastern Europe. He said that time was not far when people of Indian held territory of Jammu and Kashmir will achieve their cherished goal of freedom from Indian subjugation.
The PTI president claimed that within his limited sources he was projecting Kashmir cause at international level whereas government and president of Azad Kashmir by utilizing state resources have been damaging Kashmir cause and dividing people of Kashmiri to push forward the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s policy of dividing Kashmir.
Senior PTI leader Sardar Imtiaz and Sheikh Maqsood were also present on the occasion.
