QUETTA: (Parliament Times) Balochistan government is taking steps to provide potable water to the poor masses in far flung areas of the province.
The sources of Provincial Public Health Engineering Department told during a conversation today that for this purpose, a project of laying down a pipeline from Swall Gram to Pasni Town in Gwadar district is at a cost of 678 million rupees.
Similarly, a water supply scheme is being constructed in Sui town of Dera Bugti district at a cost of 457 million rupees.
The sources further said that another project of construction of three overhead tanks and laying down a pipeline is also in progress in Panjgur district at a cost of 300 million rupees.
