Four dead as trailer overturns on motorway near Salt Range

Kallar Kahar: Four people were killed and one seriously injured after a trailer overturned on the motorway in Kallar Kahar,
According to officials of the National Highways and Motorway Police, the accident occurred around 5am due to over-speeding and resultantly failing of the vehicle’s brakes.
The accident took place in the Salt Range area a frequent site of road accidents on the motorway due to its steep slopes and frequent curves. The deceased include driver Mazhar Abbas, Abid Hussain, Khurram Shahzad and Malik Mehboob.
Moreover, Mohammad Shafiq was started to be in critically condition.
The Kallar Kahar police have registered a case and started investigating.
