LAHORE: Kalsoom Nawaz, wife of former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has left for London in connection with her medical check up.
Kalsoom Nawaz arrived at Lahore airport and flew to London by PIA flight PK-757 Thursday.
As per her PIA ticket she would return home on September 24.
Sharif family spokesperson has said that she will return to Pakistan within three days. She was to appear in election commission office Thursday in connection with scrutiny of her nomination papers filed by her for contesting by polls in NA-120 Lahore. Due to her departure to London, her counsel and covering candidate Mian Noman will appear before returning officer.
Kalsoom Nawaz is candidate from PML-N in by polls at NA-120 and rival political parties have raised objections over her nomination papers.
