AGPR to give advance salaries to employees on Eid

Accountant General Pakistan Revenue (AGPR) has granted salaries of federal employees on 28th August. AJK government did not take any step for advance salaries of employees yet.
Grant of Advance salaries of August was given in view of expected Eid ul Azha in start of September. All commercial banks are instructed to provide federal employees salaries in their accounts by AGPR. Federal Minister for Railways Saad Rafique also asked Finance department for the provision of advance salaries to railway employees. Sindh government has also issued a notification to issue salaries on 28th August before Eid ul Azha. Employees of some departments in AJK didn’t get advance salaries of Eid ul Azha, employees on Adhoc, Projects, or on Contract basis were also unable to get their salaries before Eid. All cheques issued by AJK government before Eid ul Fitar were dishonored by State Bank due to excess of Overdraft then limit.
People of AJK demanded PM AJK to shorten his visit of GT road and look after the State matters as soon as possible.
