Following Ayesha Ahad who claims to be wife of Hamza Shehbaz, another woman Seemil Kamran, who claims to be wife of former Punjab law minister Raja Basharat, has come to the fore. Seemil Kamran also showed a divorce paper and demanded Raja to return her the car she bought. Ayesha Ahad is also back in the spotlight with her allegations against PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz. Earlier, Ayesha Gulalai had made huge splashes across the political horizons with allegations against Imran Khan. Gulalai had alleged that Khan had sent inappropriate messages to her and hinted at tying the knot in the texts. She claimed to have informed her father that Khan had asked her to meet him alone. She claimed to have taken her father and brother along with her to meet the PTI chief which irked him. Gulalai said her father asked Khan about his intentions but he dodged the question.
As per the MNA, Khan first sent inappropriate messages to her in 2013. She cleared her position by saying that she did not enter in politics due to Imran Khan and she will not discontinue her politics after this incident. Gulalai said that she got the seat due to her own credentials, not just by PTI’s backing. After Gulalai’s shocking revelations, twenty-member parliamentary committee is being formed to probe Gulalai allegations but PTI rejected the demand for a bi-partisan parliamentary committee to probe Gulalai’s allegations. TV presenter Reham Khan has denied allegations that she was behind MNA Ayesha Gulalai’s harassment allegations against Imran Khan. She added that neither was she in touch with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chief Amir Muqam, nor did she wish for a seat in parliament through such tactics. PTI Chief Imran Khan has rejected Gulalai’s allegations on him and accused that PML-N is behind in this plot. These are very sad developments that women are being used and exploited by political parties for their vested political interests. Mudslinging and personal attacks are also being made against each other. Such politics is not only giving bad name to nascent democracy but also very badly defaming the country. All politics parties must avoid such dirty politics and should concentrate on the real issues of general public and the challenges that the country is facing. All these allegations on political leaders including PTI Chief Imran Khan should be probed in a fair and impartial manner and political parties must stop exploitation of women for their political benefits.
