CPO Multan files report in SC in revenge rape case
ISLAMABAD: City Police Officer (CPO) Multan has filed written report in Supreme Court (SC) on the incident of revenge rape perpetrated with 16 years girl on the order of Punchait.
In the progress report it was said that the main accused who committed rape with 16 years girl as revenge for her brother’s alleged sexual assault of another girl and all 29 members of illegal Punchait.
3 FIRs of this incident were registered and the members of two families who were affected in these incidents registered cases against each other. The third case was registered against members of illegal Punchait on the complaint of police and state.
Police have collected evidence from the affected girls and accused persons who had committed rape with these two girls. Challan will be presented in the court within seven days of completion of investigation.
Police report said that the revenge rape was committed with the consent of the respective two families which belonged to Bhullar community.
