Karachi: A decrease of Rs 5 to 7 per litter is expected in the prices of petroleum products in the month of August.
According to media reports, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent summary to the government seeking reduction in prices of petroleum products.
OGRA has recommended Rs 6.67 decrease in the price of petrol, Rs 5.7 decrease in high speed diesel and if the summary is accepted then prices of petrol will stand curtailed to Rs 67.63 and prices of diesel can be reduced to Rs 74.63.
